We met Darryl Hunt immediately after being rocked back on our heels following a screening of The Trials of Darryl Hunt at the Los Angeles Film festival. Mr. Hunt served more than eighteen years in prison for a crime he never committed. Following his exoneration, he focused not just on healing himself, but immediately went to work helping others. He founded The Darryl Hunt Project for Freedom and Justice in 2005 to promote justice reform and combat recidivism.

After speaking with Mr. Hunt and the film’s publicist, David Magdael, at the festival, we made it a key goal to work with the project and we were writing copy and laying out type within days. Deliverables included a establishing an effective web presence as well as informative and engaging posters and collateral, including a visual timeline detailing the twists and turns of Mr. Hunt’s powerful story.

Now in its fifth year, The Darryl Hunt Project for Freedom and Justice continues to use the tools created by our agency to educate the public on this critical national issue. And to rebuild the lives of those who have served prison time for crimes they did not commit.
